The standard installation price does not include for any electrical works. If the existing appliance is direct wired then a disconnection is required. If an existing earthed power point is not accessible to plug new heater into then a new power point is also required – refer to Extras for additional costs to customer. If the customer elects to have electrical work carried out by their own electrician, then the electrical disconnection of the existing appliance must be carried out by a registered electrician prior to Veeken Plumbing going to site to perform installation. If electrical work has not been carried out, Veeken Plumbing will not begin the installation until necessary electrical work is completed and customer may be charged for an unproductive call. If electrical disconnection or new power required refer to extras Electrical Regulations now require that RCD must be fitted when installing a new power point, if the existing circuit does not have one Customers must be advised of this and that they are responsible for any extra costs that may apply
